A Hot, Hotter, Hottest Sunday

This time punya outing is quite different dengan yg sebelum2 nih.. Last Sunday we went to Hari Terbuka Tentera Darat 2011 at Dataran Merdeka (1Angkatan). Just to appreciate our army.. hehe patriotic jap.  But before we continues with the story mory, lets begins with Saturday.

Saturday, 05 March

Since we dah lame tak overnight kat umah maklong n paklong, so we decided to sleep at maklong & paklong’s house that night. Nuqmanpun miss Abg Ojie sngt2. Kebetulan plak, Kak Ati balik this week. So, ade la someone yg will take care of Nuqman n Kalish, hehe.

After Maghrib, we out for maklong n paklong’s house. As usual, Nuqman the one yg sangat2 excited.. Sepanjang jalan, he keep saying, “nak Abg Ojie, nak Abg Ojie...” tak benti2 smpi la tetido.. when mama asked about maklong n paklong, Nuqman sadly said, “maklong cibuk, paklong work..” Yes, Paklong n maklong sngt busy lately nih, especially when maklong dh take over their 7 Eleven... Kluar pg, balik malam. Same goes to Paklong, busy with his work, business and his study.. jarang2 Nuqman dapat  jumpa diorang, that's why nuqman miss them soo much, Nuqman is very close with them, before nih, they use to come to our house everyweek, if not kitorang yg pegik umah diorg.. Miss that time soo much...

Bile sampai, maklong is preparing meals for dinner... best, best. Dh lame sangat tak makan masakan Maklong. Maklong is master in cooking, ape yg die for sure mesti sedap. Nuqman plak terus carik Abg Ojie, play, n play n play.. Mama can rest for a while, ade org take care of Kalish n Nuqman.. Thanks to Abg Ojie n Kak Ati. That night was very happy, we chit chat, makan2 and layan movies... Makjang, Pakjang n family also comes join us at maklong n paklong’s house. Bestnyer kalo selalu dapat berkumpul ngan family macam nih...

Mama n Ayah sangat semangat nak bawak Nuqman n Kalish pegik Dataran Merdeka that day. Pakngah (he’s one of the army yg involve on that day) told us to come early as  the programme will start early n Pakngah said the programme will include perarakan kontinjen n aset-aset kenderaan tempur, Payung Terjun (penerjunan bebas), akrobatik bermoto Red Warriors, demonstrasi Anjing Perang, demonstrasi menyelamat tebusan oleh Unit Lawan Keganasan dari 21 GGK n booths for pameran2 ketenteraan.

Pakjang, Kak Dayini, Abg Awat, Kak Tasnim

 We went there by LRT as to avoid traffic jam... Pakjang, Abg Awat, Kak Dayini n Kak Tasnimpun pegik jugak.. We went out quite early that day, but sampai je sane abg2 askar dh abes kawad... mase smpi tu tngah ade pertunjukan macam2 jenis kenderaan yg army guna.. Pastu kitorang start la tour dataran merdeka tengok ape ade... It’s very exciting to get to know what is actually an army doing and work with.  Army skang dah ade bnyk improvement in terms of gadget, vehicles, weapons, and etc. Tokwanpun ex-army, but mama tak penahpun tengok all these thing before.. Then, we meet Pakngah at his booth (makanan & minuman for army)... Makngah, Kak Shafa, Kak Zahirah, Kak Shidah and Abg Li pun ade sama.. We rest jap kat situ and continue our tour...

Pakngah Madi the 'Macho Man'

Macam2 ada... tp, kitorang just passing by je booth2 tu. Tengok dari luar je coz org ramai n sangat panas. Pastu kitorang tengok payung terjun. Ada 18 org  army yg buat penerjunan. Mama sangat kagum tengok payung terjun, LIVE!!! It was mama’s 1^st time. Then, kitorang tngok akrobatik bermoto Red Warriors. Mama tak Nampak sangat pun sebeno nye coz ramai sangat org, ayah n pakjang je yang pegik mencelah kat tengah org ramai tu.. n the best part is demonstrasi menyelamat tebusan oleh Unit Lawan Keganasan dari 21 GGK. Still.. mama can’t see clearly but mama feels like it is a real war... takuttt sangat. Dengan bunyik tembak2, meletup sane sini, helicopter  plak atas kepala je.. Time tu, Mama tepikir camne la kalo betul2 war, hidup dlm ketakutan... Alhamdulillah syukur sangat2 kita hidup aman damai sekarang ni, semoga Allah kekalkan keamanan kita nih, amin. We learn something la that day..

But... it was very2 hot day, with a crowd of people... fuhh, it’s very uncomfortable for Mama n Ayah with 2 kids; Nuqman n Kalish. Ayah, Nuqman n Kalish was wet in sweat.. hehe. A credit should be given to Kalish as he’s act such a very good boy.. he didn’t buat perangai at all, walaupun panas terik, xde susu, xde makan... he’s just eager to know what is this and that n tetido.. Nuqman??? Mama n Ayah don’t know what is actually happen to our big boy, he’s cried, tak nak jalan, tak nak tangok pape, tak main even though ramai cousin yg join ... Nuqman just keep saying, “nk umah, nak umah, nuqman takut nih..”.

Around 1.00 p.m kitorang balik. Makngah n kids also ikut. Kitorang have lunch kat umah makjang’s house. Thanks to makjang n pakjang.. And skali lagi kitorang berkumpul adik beradik... but this time without paklong’s family... If Paklong’s family and Pakda’s family join together, it will nicer and more2 meriah... Mama should arrange a family gathering one day....
